Welcome to Kaleden, BC
The Small Community with a Big Heart

Kaleden can be discovered just a short drive south of Penticton, BC in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. Situated on the west side of Skaha Lake, it boasts the scenic beauty of lakefront living and a community full of spirit and neighborly connections.

This website introduces you to our beautiful lakeside community and contains pictures and information to help you enjoy Kaleden's parks and recreational opportunities. Public facilities, parks and recreational programs are guided by our dedicated volunteers with the Kal-Rec Commission and managed by the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen.

Please contact the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen for all other government services and inquiries..

The Kaleden Parks and Recreation Commission (KalRec) is the local volunteer group that handles the maintenance of Kaleden's two parks and the Community Hall. Regional District staff coordiante both public and private bookings for the Community Hall and special events in the parks.

From Kaleden, you can choose to walk or bike along the Kettle Valley Railway Trail which will take you north to Penticton or south to Okanagan Falls in what is best described as the scenic route.

The Kaleden Recreation Commission works to enhance the recreational opportunities and infrastructure available within Kaleden while respecting the heritage and natural features already present in the area.
